Fraser Field

Frasier Field has been a storied part of the history of Lynn for several decades. Since being built in 1940, it has been home to many teams, including:
  • Lynn Red Sox (1946-1948) and Lynn Tigers (1949) of the New England League
  • Lynn Sailors (1980-1982, Seattle Mariners affiliate) and Lynn Pirates (1983, Pittsburgh Pirates affiliate) of the Eastern League
  • Massachusetts Mad Dogs (1995-1997) of the Northeast League, now known as the Can-Am League
  • North Shore Spirit (2003-2007)
Fraser was remodeled by the Spirit ownership in 2003, and has been turned into what the Boston Globe calls "a gem of a ballpark" and one of the best venues in Greater Boston.
